Happy New Year?

“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” Psalm 91:14–15

I'm not sure when I'll be happy again, but I'm filled with a peace and contentment as I rest in God's love not looking immediately for results to happen. God knows what He's doing. I stand on the promises found in His word above. The Lord will RESCUE ME, PROTECT ME, BE WITH ME, DELIVER ME, AND HONOR ME.

I've decided that my resolutions will be only spiritual ones this year. Here they are in no certain order of importance, for they need to be all happening:
1. Grow in the grace and knowledge of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2. Become gentle in spirit.
3. Not to sin in my anger.
5 Be a joyful Joy.
6. To love others as I love myself.
7. Find all my self-worth in God alone.

I think this verse does sum it all up:

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33
